Ugandan athlete Stephen Kiprotich is in mourning following the death of his father.
According to reports, the Olympic marathon champion’s father, James Kiptoi Kiboi, passed away on Tuesday evening. He is said to have collapsed at his home in Kapchorwa and was rushed to hospital where he breathed his last.
Condolence messages have since been trickling in from fans and members of the athletics fraternity.
