Stella Atal and Judith Heard Represent Uganda at International Fashion Event in Paris

Legendary fashion designer, Stella Atal together with model and fashion enthusiast Judith Heard, represented Uganda at this year’s ‘Africa Fashion Reception’ held in Paris that happened yesterday, the 7th of November.

The Africa Fashion Reception is a Pan African initiative, organized by legendary Gold limited in collaboration with the African Union and UNESCO which invites African designers from all over the African continent and the Diaspora to showcase their skill and talent in fashion.

This year’s event gathered fashion icons, dignitaries, Ambassadors and media from over 30 African countries, in a celebration of cultural diversity expressed through the artistic fashion discipline with the proud theme ‘Africa is the New Inspiration of Global Fashion’. Only one designer is usually nominated to represent each African country, and Stella Atal held the flag for Uganda this year, accompanied by Judith Heard.

Zanie Brown has not only inspired the young generation, the singer has also continued to show her big heart once again through her charity works, a thing that has kept her on top as the leading role model and one of the most charitable celebrities Uganda is blessed to have.

Over the weekend, Zanie under her Zanie Brown 4 schools foundation extended charity to the natives of Nameistu in Mbale where they donated to them a lot of things including clothes, Mosquito nets, gave out sanitary pads to the women and girls, created start up is for the natives among others

Also Zanie talked to the natives about how they can maintain both sanitation and personal hygiene in the community, it was during this time when she taught them how to use sanitary pads as many were naive on how to use them

The sound system based in Glasgow, Scotland ,(UK) mainly follows the original Jamaican sound system tradition and is bringing their unique style of music fusion to Kampala music fans. who will have to part with 30k(ugx) to enjoy this act.
