Legendary fashion designer, Stella Atal together with model and fashion enthusiast Judith Heard, represented Uganda at this year’s ‘Africa Fashion Reception’ held in Paris that happened yesterday, the 7th of November.

The Africa Fashion Reception is a Pan African initiative, organized by legendary Gold limited in collaboration with the African Union and UNESCO which invites African designers from all over the African continent and the Diaspora to showcase their skill and talent in fashion.

This year’s event gathered fashion icons, dignitaries, Ambassadors and media from over 30 African countries, in a celebration of cultural diversity expressed through the artistic fashion discipline with the proud theme ‘Africa is the New Inspiration of Global Fashion’. Only one designer is usually nominated to represent each African country, and Stella Atal held the flag for Uganda this year, accompanied by Judith Heard.
