Abbas Mubiru, husband to Golden band musician, Stecia Mayanja, who is facing fraud charges, missed court for the second time yesterday.
Nalukoola Luyimbaazi, the defense counsel informed court that his client did not turn up in court because he was not feeling well and has not yet recovered from sickness requesting for an adjournment.
However, Nalukoola presented to court Andrew Kayonga, one of Mubiru’s sureties to prove to court that his client is still obedient to the terms and conditions of the bail and Joan Aciro, the Grade 1 Magistrate adjourned the matter up to September 22.
It should be noted that Mubiru fraudulently obtained Ugx 45.5 million from Ronald Ddanze promising to sell him land in Lubowa, Wakiso district last year.
