Musician Stecia Mayanja has kicked off her quest to become a Hajjat.
The singer has jetted off to Sauda Arabia.
The joy was palpable as Stecia Mayanja started her pilgrimage to Mecca on Wednesday.
“I am going to fulfill the 5th pillar of Islam. I am going on Hijja,” she noted. “I am very excited that Allah has enabled me to do this. Soon Changing to Hajjat Faridah Stecia Mayanja.”
The singer join scores of Muslims from all around the world as they congregate at Mecca to visit the Kaaba.
