About 40 new mothers that laid to bed at Kawempe Referral Hospital, Kampala were in for a wonderful surprise as they were gifted with care packages on Monday, March 8th, 2021. The packages included items that mothers need to nurse themselves and their newborns like baby diapers , feeding bottles, wash towels, baby basins, cotton wool, baby soap, gauze, sugar, laundry soap and detergent.
This was courtesy of Starmade Grupo Entertainment in celebration of women all over the world.
Speaking at the charity event, the Front lining Artiste, Starmade himself said “We must go beyond paying mere lip service and truly showing that we appreciate and care of the women in our lives. They make us feel better, do better and become better versions of ourselves so they deserve better treatment.”
The President, Starmade Grupo Entertainment when addressing the mothers remarked “We are grateful to you all because you all are the portals bringing new life and without you, none of us would be here. Kindly accept this token as our form of support and appreciation.”
One of the recipients thanked the team for the show of love “Since the pandemic started, things have not been easy at all, my husband lost his job and my business hasn’t been doing well either. So this surprise has made me very happy. God will continue to bless Starmade and the S.M.G. team.”
This is another one of S.M.G. entertainment philanthropic strides even as the fast rising artiste, Starmade reaffirmed his commitment to the service of humanity. “I believe we are all put here to make others’ lives better and this is our focus at S.M.G. entertainment.
