Stanbic Bank has injected over Ugx 100 Million in this year’s edition of the annual Jazz and Soul Safari concert.
This was revealed by Stanbic Bank’s Head Marketing and Communications, Daniel Ogong at a press briefing held at Stanbic Bank offices at Forest Mall on Monday as they unveiled an alternative payment option for concert goers. Jazz fans will now be able to buy Gold tickets using mobile money via Stanbic’s Flexipay payment solution or alternatively use their Visa or MasterCard at their comfort.
According to Daniel Ogong, these options will make Gold ticket payments convenient for the customer.
“Previously, we used to participate at the level of inviting our key clients to attend the Jazz and Soul Safari concert, but this year we have taken a step forward to put some money behind the event,” he noted. “We have contributed in excess of Ugx 100 Million to this event.”
“We come in to add to its worth by making the payment process easy and accessible through our digital service. If you use any of our payment platforms, MasterCard/Visa or FlexiPay, you will also be able to get a discount on the tickets. A Gold ticket at UGX130, 000 will be bought at UGX100, 000.” He added.
The Jazz and Soul Safari concert, which is now in its 10th edition, will be held on Saturday, September 2 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
