Ugandan songstress Spice Diana has spoken out following a reported fallout with rising singer Uncle Chumi, known for his hit song “Gwokute Gwobba”.

The original version of “Gwokute Gwobba” was released in February 2025 and received a warm reception from the public.
Its popularity prompted a remix featuring Spice Diana, one of the country’s top female artists, who added her unique touch to the track.

However, earlier this week, Spice Diana deleted the remix from her official YouTube channel, sparking rumours of a fallout between the two singers.
In response to the public speculation, Spice Diana said the decision came after noticing a lack of support from mainstream platforms for the song.
“His song was not playing on TV or radio,” she explained, hinting at challenges with promoting the remix.
Although she did not reveal further details about the nature of their fallout, it is believed that the breakdown of their friendship played a role in the removal of the song.
Uncle Chumi has yet to comment on the situation.
Fans continue to express mixed reactions on social media, with many hoping for a resolution between the two artists.
