Local stars, Spice Diana, Anne Kansiime and Faridah Nakazibwe have renewed their relationship with fintech company, Chipper Cash. After serving as the company’s brand influencers for close to a year, the three stars have now been signed on as the official Chipper Cash brand ambassadors.
They were officially unveiled in their new role during a ceremony held at Mestil Hotel on Thursday.
Speaking at the event, Dan Tumuramye, the Chipper Cash Country Manager, commended the trio on their creative talents and further revealed that they espouse the brand’s values which they have proven over the past one year. This, he explained, is the reason Chipper Cash has advanced their relationship with them.
“Over the last one year, these ladies have really proven that they speak the brand; the brand speaks into their persona, and are willing to burn their fingers for the brand. I am confident that they are the right people to push our brand,” said Dan Tumuramye.
As brand ambassadors, the trio will continue to spread the Chipper mission of moving money freely, educate their audiences and customers about the brand, products and services, as well as help the brand reach the grassroots.
Commenting about the new role, Spice Diana expressed excitement about working with Chipper Cash and thanked them for believing in her.
“The past one year I have been with Chipper Cash has been amazing. They believed in Spice Diana as a brand, made me their first influencer, and we have grown together. Today we open a new chapter as brand ambassador. I am so happy to be part of the Chipper family,” said Spice Diana.
On her part, Faridah Nakazibwe revealed that working with Chipper Cash has opened her eyes to new investment opportunities that allow her to concentrate on her full-time job and still invest on the side.
Anne Kansiime noted that she is happy to be associated with the Chipper Cash brand, adding that she only attaches her name to things that she truly believes in.
Meanwhile, Chipper Cash has been licenced by the Bank of Uganda and the Capital Markets Authority and according to Dan Tumuramye, they will roll out several products this year including Virtual Visa Cards and Bill Payments solution among others.
