South African Legendary musician PJ Powers is coming to Uganda.

Famous for songs like “Jabulani”, “There is an Answer”, “World In Union”,  and “Home to Africa” among others, the legendary singer is expected in the country this weekend ahead of her highly anticipated ‘Jabulani charity concert’.

Speaking about the concert on her earlier visit to the country in April, she expressed excitement about performing in Uganda while supporting a good cause.

“I first came to Uganda about 14 years ago,” she said. “The most excitement I have ever experienced on tour in Africa is when I come to Uganda. So, it was really easy for me to choose coming here again.”

PJ Powers is expected to first mingle with her fans at a meet and greet party that will be held on Sunday at SkyBeach Lounge before her concert next week.

The charity concert is being organised by Girl Up Initiative Uganda, a community development organisation that empowers young girls to thrive in their communities. It will be held on Friday, June 30 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
