South African DJ duo, 2wo Bunnies light up Vaults Lounge's 3rd anniversary celebration

By Our Reporter

On Saturday, Vault Lounge, one of Bugolobi’s most revered party spots celebrated its third anniversary in grand style.

Sponsored by Don Julio, the celebrations transformed the venue into a haven of high-energy, excitement and good vibes.

Hosted by Sheila Gashumba, the party was headlined by the amazing South African DJ duo- 2wo Bunnies.

Don Julio went all out with a beautiful setup that elevated the already beautiful setting. Upon entering through the gates, revellers were welcomed with a huge blue backdrop, that was simply perfect for some nice snap shots.

The ground was carpeted with blue and red, and a huge LED screen was mounted across the sitting area, creating an aura of sophistication. The screen, that had Don Julio videos running, provided a hint of what the tequila brand is all about, and offered even a better backdrop for revellers to capture moments of the unforgettable night.

By midnight, Vault Lounge was packed to capacity, with barely any room to move. But all was well, as revellers proved that they had strictly showed up for one thing, and one thing only: to have a great time.

The night kicked off with an electric set from DJ Hady, whose selection of R&B and pop tracks warmed up the crowd and set the mood for what was to come. DJ Vanns kept the energy rising as he took over with his Afrobeat bangers mix that had everyone swaying.

And then came the stars of the night; the South African DJ duo- 2wo Bunnies! The crowd went into a frenzy as soon as they took to the decks with their signature Amapiano beats. They went on to rock the already fired up crowd with their hits- Jagermeister, Khuphuka, and Casablanca.

The energy was high, as attendees fully immersed themselves in the fresh sounds the duo brought to Kampala for the debut performance.

Revellers proved they had understood the brief, as they made the beautiful Don Julio ladies and mixologists extremely busy, as tequila bottles and cocktails kept flying throughout the night.

Whether it was bottle service or cocktails, Don Julio added the perfect touch to an already incredible night.

Simon Lapyem, the Innovations Manager at UBL, termed the Vault Anniversary as an incredible experience, that they eagerly looked forward to, as a brand. “We knew this was going to be a night for the books, and we are extremely proud as Don Julio, that we didn’t just show up, but we elevated the experience and the celebration in every sense of the word. The host- Sheila, the DJ Line-up, and the 2wo Bunnies were simply the perfect combination for such a memorable night,” he said.

After 2wo Bunnies, DJ Roja stepped in with one mission; to ensure the celebration went on till morning.
