Ugandan musicians will make you happy with their music and before you start praising them and celebrating their success, they will rub their folly in your face in a second. This is very true and resonates very well with one singer, Pius Mayanja, also known as Pallaso.
Pallaso shocked the Social world when he bashed the HiPipo Music Awards today. The singer who was over the top when he won the Award for best musician in the diaspora in the 2014 HiPipo Music Awards now pulled out spears and started throwing them at the organizers sinking as low as calling them names on his official page.
“I have been nominated in the HiPipo music awards for best Afro Pop song which is Kona. I want to let you all my fans know that these awards are very biased and they are aiming at discrediting very hard working artists and bring them down while they value others that are willing to kiss their a**es!” he said.
After reading this statement from a ‘professional artiste’, one cannot help but wonder if some of our musicians will grow up, respect other entities and respect themselves in the eyes of their fans.
But again, Pallaso’s post can’t surprise those that have been following him. He some time last year alleged in a Facebook post that his elder brother, Jose Chameleone killed someone.
“….Did you really post on Facebook asking why the brutality towards one another???? Chameleone really? Youu? You beat me and broke my teeth you are the most violent and brutal artist the whole industry knows you beat DJ Roja just recently! “YOU EVEN KILLED ROBERT KARAMAJI”,” Pallaso wrote.
Surprisingly, a few days later he deleted this same post.
We will keep you posted.
