The sad moment of Keron’s farewell resulted into Juliana and Amon’s reunion. The sorrow combined with trauma and pain of losing their only child, Keron Kabugo is working as a positive force to bringing celebrated music icon Juliana Kanyomozi and her ex Amon Lukwago back together.
The pair first met back in the 1990’s when Juliana was still a karaoke singer and dancer. Amon and Juliana would then go on to be a hot item around town. The relationship started turning uglier later on especially after the birth of Keron before it finally crushed, leaving Juliana in full custody of the child.
Attendants of the vigil were shocked to hear Amon break down in spirit as he humbly apologised to Juliana for his misconduct. He further thanked Juliana for stepping at his house for the first time since they broke up, close to a decade.
At the burial, Amon also revealed in his speech how he was proud of Juliana. Roger re-echoed the words in the speech saying, “Juliana, Amon says he is very, very proud of you. He says he has not met anybody in the world who has inspired so much strength in him than you”.
Juliana also expressed her gratitude to Amon and described him as a great father, dad and husband. We are waiting to see if this will materialise into something more.
