Sophie Nantongo delivered an unforgettable performance last night at the Serena Hotel Kampala during the Tugende Mu Kikadde concert, where she played to a sold-out audience.
By as early as 8 p.m., the conference hall was packed to capacity, with all sections — from VIP to ordinary seating — fully occupied by eager fans ready to enjoy a night of nostalgic music.
Sophie thrilled the crowd with four distinct sets, offering the very best of her timeless oldies. Her performance was met with cheers and sing-alongs, as the audience enjoyed hit after hit from her celebrated catalogue.
Adding to the night’s magic were powerful support performances from some of Uganda’s top artists, including Irene Ntale, Mesach Semakula, Stecia Mayanja, Ronald Mayinja, and Catherine Kusasira.
