The entire Garden City Rooftop on Friday 20th December, 2013 was transformed into a unique and extraordinary jungle themed arena as Smirnoff brought the nightlife experience and sparkle that Ugandans have never experienced before at The Night.
Dubbed “Rumble in the Jungle” The Night was the biggest of its kind in the country, offering a never before enjoyed outdoor partying experience to lovers of music cutting across all genres and had Smirnoff partner with Silk Events to make it truly extraordinary. The treasure hunt experience entertained partiers as they had to hustle and bustle tasks and questions to find the hidden treasure.
The party that was an invite only was exclusive and had Kampala’s finest DJs Beekay,Chrisio and DJ Hans entertain the crowd with line-up of music that left the crowd on their feet till alate. Also on music talent line up was Kiika Drummers who brought the “Rumble in the Jungle” theme to life with enormous drum beats and a series of dancers donned in leopard print dried skin making The Night stand out as an extraordinary and enigmatic party Kampala had ever seen.
The Night was set in a jungle theme right from the entrance with an enchanted tunnel walk way into the venue complete with trees and twigs welcoming you to the wild, animal sculptures and signature Smirnoff eagle masks, bouncers and ushers dressed in animal print, signature cocktails – Black Mamba and Moscow Mule – in coconut shells, full body UV painting and animal attires.
