Men, have you ever wondered how many calories you burn during sex? Probably not, but soon you’ll be able to answer that question along with many more you’ve never considered asking, with the help of a ‘smart condom’.
Like an activity tracker for the bedroom the i.Con will provide data you’ve been burning to know, such as the duration of your love making sessions, how many different positions you use, how many thrusts you make and most importantly the speed of those thrusts.
The device is marketed as the “world’s first smart condom,” but the i.Con isn’t a condom at all. It’s a ring that sits at the base of the penis.
Fitted with a Nano-chip and sensors, the girth-adjustable ring measures your performance during the throws of passion.
Once the steam has cleared you can forget any post-match cuddles. Instead, jump onto the i.Con app and anonymously upload your recent data using Bluetooth technology.
Next, share your intimate performance details with friends and other i.Con users worldwide to see how you stack up.
British Condoms is the company responsible for the device and claims the i.Con is the future of wearable technology in the bedroom, although that claim may be slightly inflated.
There are yet to be any images of the i.Con released, but the product description says the ring will flex, allowing maximum comfort.
The company says it’s in the final stages of “testing” and is aiming for public release this year.
