I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not, but we can now say that SK Mbuga’s troubles seem to have come to an end, well if returning to Dubai is not one of the things he might need to do in future.
The Kampala tycoon who has been out of the country for over 8 months, battling fraud charges against him in Dubai has finally appeared before a court in the United Arab Emirates, and found guilty. The good news is, he was released to return home, call it deportation and given a life ban from entering the United Arab Emirates ever. It is yet to be confirmed if he is returning to Uganda or is finding a new home elsewhere.
He was arrested by Interpol earlier this year after he allegedly defrauded a Swedish company of over 23 billion shillings ,and later being accused of also fleecing another unidentified amount of money from a Dubai businessman.
