Fast rising singer Ykee Benda of the Farmer fame has disclosed to his fans how he is not only a talented musician but also a professional Chemical Engineer.

While appearing on a local TV station over the weekend, Ykee Benda said that he wanted to join music immediately after he finished senior six but his family was strict on him and couldn’t allow him thus had to go abroad to study chemical engineering for four years.

He added that after completing his chemical engineering degree, he decided not to pursue a career in this field and opted to follow his passion – music, recording his first single Farmer that is currently rocking airwaves across the country.

Ykee Benda further indicated that most people thought he made a wrong decision quitting his profession but he doesn’t regret it since he has hopes that his talent will pay him better in the long run.
