Yesterday, the Buganda Road court Chief Magistrate, Lilian Buchana granted bail to Abbasi Mubiru, the husband to singer Stecia Mayanja.
While appearing before court, Abbasi was charged with defrauding 45 million shillings from a One Danze Ronald in a failed land sell between October and November 2014 in Lubowa.
He was however granted a 1 Million cash bail after the court verified the sureties he presented and was informed to report back to court on June 29th.
It should be noted that Abbasi was arrested and remanded to Luzira prison at the beginning of this week.
