Depression is a serious medical condition that has claimed the lives of many music stars. Sheebah seems to be the latest one from Uganda to be going through one of the most serious stages of depression.
According to her counselor, at the health centre where she receives periodic treatment; “we may lose Sheebah, the earlier she checks into Rehab, the better. I think she’s burnt-out. She has this emptiness that can’t be explained to a person who’s never experienced it. She keeps saying; “she would give up anything just to have a peace of mind. I think she’s having a mid-life crisis.”
Friends to Sheebah say she spends most of her days in-doors of late, she’s lost in the world. She really doesn’t know whether it’s music for her or something else. “I think she has this fear that this music success may be short-lived, she has this fear that she may lose it all again, and this scares her like nothing,” says one of her close friends.
BigEye.ug has also learned that Sheebah posting her nude-photos is a way of trying to beat this depression. She simply can’t find happiness. And she feels everyone loves her for what she has not for who she is as a person.
Just in case you don’t get another hit song from Sheebah, just know she will be checking into rehab.
