Musician Richard Kaweesa whose father perished in a car accident yesterday at Lubowa along Entebbe road has received massive support from his fellow entertainers as he goes through a very difficult time. The accident involved a Toyota Prado Reg number UAN 413K belonging to Pastor Steven Kaweesi of Yesu Akwagala church in Lubowa who died along with two American evangelists.
“Our Brother Kaweesa Richard has lost his dad. Please lets join hands and pray for the Kaweesa family so that the good Lord can see them through this trying time. May His soul and those that died with him in the Accident Rest in Peace. We have you in our Prayers brother,” said Tusker Project Fame’s Davis Ntare.
“Grief and sadness fills my heart to learn of the passing on of Ps Stephen Kaweesa. My hearts condolences and prayer for God’s love and comfort go out to Kaweesa Phila, Kaweesa Richard, and the wider Kaweesa family, love you so much, and our hearts are with you in this moment. Babaluku who is Richard’s close friend said; “21 years ago i lost my father Apostle John D Balabyekkubo in a similar way Kaweesa Richard’s dad has met the lord, as I am saddened to hear this news today I want to send my prayers of encouragement to you Richy and the whole entire family of the late yet ever present spirit of Apostle Steven Kawesa strengthening you in this season and time where only God can ultimately fill the void and gap felt in the present. The physical Body might perish but the soul is alive and well moving among and through us all reminding us of our purpose and mission to make sure we accomplish that which he has assigned us to serve.
The foundation and Legacy laid will keep memories of strength, commitment and dedication to continuing Gods work – so let that song of triumph within awaken for the spirit has risen and death has been conquered. we will always celebrate and never to forget but always remember to remember the Great men who have served his Kingdom with all their heart.
