Is he ready? Can he come of age? These are some of the questions that have been on people’s lips prior to Vocal Police commander Maro’s concert this Saturday. Many felt that he needed time and he hasn’t really broken through to organize a concert of his own.
Trust him not to be swayed by detractors and in a confident move decided to treat his fans to a fanfare in the form of a concert at Freedom City. Do I think he has come of age? Not yet but I think he has the right incentives to be propelled to the top.
With a sizeable number of hits like Genda Ewamwe which is the flagship song, Musayi, Sula Bulungi and the soon to be a hit Omuwesi,I think Maro will hold his own in his debut concert. The Vocal Police cast that has Empress, Nutty Neithan should be able to give him some good company.
Personally I think he will have a well attended and well packaged show so go catch a glimpse of the crooner on Saturday 14th September at a paltry 10000/=.
