Musician Cindy Sanyu could go behind bars soon. Police in Mbarara have started a thorough hunt down for the ‘dat dat’ singer and her former manager PJ to answer fraud charges.
Cindy is in trouble for taking money from Crooze FM management in Mbarara as advance for a show she was supposed to stage at Mbarara University Of Science and Technology, and then failing to show up for the show.
“She took over 1.2 million shillings to perform at a Crooze show at MUST but refused to turn up to perform. Management asked her to pay the money back and she has refused to comply. Management decided to take the issue to Police to get their money back,” said a source.
Cindy now faces arrest.
