Musician Angella Katatumba has kicked off 2016 with philanthropic work. The “Lets go green” singer who is famous for her humanitarian work will this Friday, 15th January visit Mulago Hospital where she will make a huge donation.
The initiative which is being carried out in conjunction with the Ministry of Health is meant to improve sanitation and raise standards of healthcare facilities in Uganda.
Meanwhile, under her Angella Katatumba Development Foundation (AKDF), the singer has previously been involved in several charity projects at Mulago hospital. In one of her projects dubbed “Mulago Yaffe”, she donated several items including blankets, bed sheets, and baby clothes among others to newly born babies and their mothers.
