Singer Amani Says She Was Very Broke During Her Campus Days

Beauty and brains have always worked out for female celebrities in the showbiz. One such lady is the gorgeous Amani who has managed to go past all odds and made a name for herself.

Her years in University were quite enjoyable and defining. However, she explains she was that simple girl whom nobody knew about. “I was that simple girl whom nobody new anything about. And I was frugal with cash. No shopping for me up until I finished school,” she told The Nairobian.

Amani toyed with the idea of getting into the music industry full time as music was her hobby. Bit by bit, she got into music and started realizing her career. Into the music she garnered quite some money but this did not make her change friends, they still remained loyal, to date.

Amani was adamant to disclose her date during the university life but she went on adding that they dated since she was 16 years and broke up when 27..quite a lengthy period. “Again, I wont tell you whom I dated, but I did. I dated the same person from age 16 to 27. Same guy,” she said.

The gorgeous lass studied International Business Administration, majoring in Marketing at the USIU.
