Despite their 2-0 win over The Saints FC on Tuesday evening at the Bombo Military Stadium, Simba Sports Club has been relegated back to the FUFA Big League.
In what has been a very tough season for the 2011 Uganda Cup winners, two first half goals from Ivan Waava and Wakaza Godfrey were enough to earn them victory on the day.
Their relegation followed Lweza FC’s 2-1 win over Sports Club Victoria University (SC VU) on the same day. The Kajjansi Boys’ result meant that the army side could not supersede or even match their 34 points tally with just a single game left to play.
