Well, it looks like the entire year 2023 is a season that will be shaped by battles throughout.
Before we can digest the ‘Pallaso – Alien Skin’ concert battle, we are already taken up by the ‘Uganda Copy Right Law’ theme.
With singer Eddy Kenzo who at the same time is the Uganda National Musicians Federation President at the helm, mixed reactions from stakeholders still ooze all-over the place.

However, to cub the endless attacks on him, Eddy Kenzo has hit studio with a new song “Sibiwulira”.
“Sibiwulira” is a Luganda language word that is translated as “I don’t hear them” in English.
In the song, the 2023 Grammy Award nominee says its awkward for people to think that they are ‘blue-eyed’ all the time.
“Some people think that they possess monopoly of ideas on how everything should be managed or handled, but that’s a false assumption and we reject that kind of arrogance,” Edy Kenzo stated.
Controversy about the ‘Uganda Copy Right Law’ sparked last week during the Late Kato Lubwama’s burial when musician cum politician Bobi Wine demeaned the current approach of revamping it by the government and the Uganda National Musicians Federation body.
Since then, it has accumulated a mammoth of twisted comments from musicians and other art stakeholders, moreover the public inclusive.
