Sheraton Kampala Hotel, the home of festivities in Uganda has announced its plans for this year’s Valentine’s Day, celebrated annually on February 14th. According to the Hotel’s General Manager, Jean Philippe Bittencourt, this year’s celebration is unique considering the Covid 19 pandemic and ongoing social media ban.

“This year, just like last year is unique because of the prevailing circumstances. Celebrations are definitely not what they used to be. And this will be the first Valentine’s Day celebrated with extreme caution. We however encourage all lovebirds, friends and family to come celebrate with us. We will have a Valentine’s Day brunch worth shs100,000 per person, a three course meal dinner worth shs125,000 per person and shs250,000 per couple accompanied by a free welcome drink, performance from a live band and roses for the lovely ladies. We will also host our monthly Latin Fiesta on the eve of Valentine’s Day, that is Saturday February 13th from 5:00pm at only shs100,000 per person and this comes with a full menu, complementary drink and live entertainment by the exquisite Beyond Latin Vibes crew,” he said, adding that;

“As is now part of our tradition, observation of the SOPs and traffic guidelines is vital.  We have therefore discounted our Executive rooms for the valentine’s weekend to $162 per night and this comes with a complementary drink to enable our clients enjoy themselves without worrying about curfew. We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection at highly frequented areas and regularly touched surfaces such as counters at front desk, elevators, public bathrooms, room keys and gym equipment to minimize risk of the spread of Covid 19. We urge every person that visits Sheraton Kampala Hotel to wear their masks while on our premises and request our lovely quests to make reservations in time,” said Mr. Bittencourt

The Hotel also boosts of a spa, swimming pool and gym that celebrants can take advantage of this Valentine’s Day. For reservations, call 0753044293/0753044293/0312322499 or email William.kaweesa@sheratonkampala.com  or reservations@sheratonkampala.com
