As December draws closer and the festive season along with it, Sheraton Kampala Hotel is already gearing up for the season’s festivities.
This was revealed by Jean-Philippe Bittencourt, the Sheraton Kampala Hotel General Manager while addressing guests at the “Christmas in November” cocktail party that was hosted at their Rwenzori Ballroom on Wednesday evening.
According to Jean Philippe Bittencourt, celebrating “Christmas in November” has been a tradition at the Hotel for over a decade that was only disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the pandemic over, it was only right to hold the celebration again.
During the occasion, the hotel gets to celebrate and show appreciation to their clients and partners who have supported them throughout the year.
“This marks the beginning of our favorite season,” Jean-Philippe Bittencourt said. “The season to celebrate. The season to give. The season to relax and prepare for the forthcoming year. We have carefully curated events and experiences to imbue you with Christmas cheer and spirit.”
The invited guests were treated to a full feast with plenty to eat and drink, getting a glimpse of what to expect during the festive season. The evening was hosted by media personalities, Brian Mulondo and Crystal Newman who shared light humor while Janzi band on the other hand provided entertainment to the guests performing a mix of popular hits and Christmas songs covers.
Meanwhile, Jean-Philippe Bittencourt also used the event to announce what the hotel has lined up for the festive season. Among the activities to look out for this festive season include Christmas Carols Sunday brunches, a special Christmas brunch, Boxing Day dinner as well as a New Year’s Fireworks party.
