Gifted Music Group singer and songwriter, Shena Namagembe aka Shena Skies whose songs like “In the zone” and “Loving you” ft. Rey Heavens, are slowly by slowly earning mileage on the music scene, recently released another love song titled “Anything” in which she expressed love and affection.
“I was watching TV and l heard this old school jam called Anything by Jay-Z, it was just so good l called up my producer and told him we have to make something out of it,” Shena Skies revealed what inspired her to do the song.
“Basically the lyrics are directed to any one you are in a mutual relationship with be it friendship or love but anyone you care enough for and value much. And what better to show admiration or love than a kiss, it’s a simple gesture that goes a long way to tell a story.” She explained the meaning of the song.
“Anything” is a Reggae dancehall song in which the GMG songstress sings saying that she will do anything for the person that she is prospecting. It was mastered by Producer Nase Avatar of Portbell Drive Music. She sang the song in English and Jamaican Patois dialect and has informed us that its video will be out soon.
Shena Skies is one of the fast rising Ugandan artistes who are expected to dominate the music industry.
