Nico Rosberg of Mercedes won the 2015 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday after a fascinating contest with team-mate Lewis Hamilton in the final race of the season. The German’s quicker switch to soft tyres proved essential to the result, as Hamilton reacted slower to the technical change.
Despite coming in second position, Lewis Hamilton still led the table standings, as the F1 champion 2015 with 381 points closely followed by Nico Rosberg with 322 points.
Five Ugandans had a chance to watch the race live at the Yas Marina, thanks to Vivo Energy. The 5 were winners of the V-Power club promotion that started in April; this comes after they consumed the highest volumes of V-Power.
However those who did not make it to Abu Dhabi did not miss out on the race. A live screening was organised at liquid Silk where the V-Power customers, members of the F1 association, the Subaru association and Vivo Energy staff also enjoyed the race.
As it has always been the norm for Vivo Energy to give back to its customers, there was a draw for one guest to win a full tank worth of V-Power, which was won by Bill Kasigi.
