The final day of the Source of the Nile Rally in Iganga saw crews swapping positions in almost every stage but Arthur Blick Jr. who by far had a trouble-free rally claimed a first National Rally victory.

The 2014 CRC Champion, Wilber Pole Pole took second place. He trailed by 5 minutes, 3seconds behind Blick.

Another Shell sponsored driver and NRC defending champion, Ronald Ssebuguzi was among the 28 drivers who did not complete the rally. He didn’t go further than Stage 4 after suffering turbo failure.

Day one winner Desh Andrew Kananura suffered a broken tie rod in stage 6, this shuttered his title bid as he doesn’t appear on the NRC standings yet.

Duncan Mubiru was a victim of the day as he incurred a suspension problem just minutes to the finish.
