Its another milestone edged by Ugandan media personality and socialite Sheilah Carol Gashumba in year 2021.

After a spree of work with various brands around the world, Sheilah Gashumba’s hardwork has paid off as she wins the ‘Influencer of the year award’ in South Africa’s African Social Entertainment Awards.
The good news was first shared by Sheilah Gashumba herself upon confirming that she had beaten; Zari The Boss Lady, Hillary Makaya, Nelisiwe Sibiya and many others in the category.
“Thank you for voting,” posted Sheilah Gashumba on her Twitter.
Friends and followers have since flocked on social media congratulating her about the new milestone hit, her dad (Frank Gashumba) among them.
“From a local TV station WBS, to an international brand & Influencer Congratulations! Sheilah Gashumba,” Frank Gashumba wrote.
In the same awards, Ugandan and South African based socialite, Zari Hassan scooped two accolades (Entrepreneur of the year and Sophisticated woman of the year).
The African Social Entertainment Awards were founded in 2018 by OGD Entertainment.
The prestigious award ceremony celebrates the lifestyle and social entertainment of Africans.
ASE Awards aim to give a much-needed appreciation to the ever-growing social media industry and to give a factual presentation of Africans lifestyle to other continents.
