Media personality Sheilah Gashumba has opened up about her decision to step away from television hosting, citing creative differences and a desire to make a lasting impact as key factors.
Gashumba, known for her vibrant presence in the media industry as a socialite, digital influencer, humanitarian, international digital music PR, and luxury party host, has had a prolific career working with several media companies. However, she recently chose to halt her television career.
“MC Kats is my friend, the DJs are my friends, but we were not on the same music thinking capacity,” Gashumba explained. “What I know about music is different from what they know, and of course, what they know is right to them and also what I know is right to me.”
Gashumba mentioned that there were multiple reasons behind her decision. “Actually, there were three reasons, so I just decided not to do TV anymore. When I do things, I always want to leave an impact, which atmosphere I felt like not given.“
Despite her departure from TV hosting, Gashumba continues to be a significant figure in the entertainment industry, leveraging her extensive experience and influence in various other roles. Her decision reflects her commitment to staying true to her vision and ensuring her work leaves a meaningful imprint.
