Local TV personality Sheilah Gashumba has scooped a juicy ambassadorial deal.
The petite NTV The Beat host has been unveiled as the new Africell Uganda ambassador. Sheilah has signed a one-year deal with the telecom company to push their new campaign dubbed “Triple Data” in which customers will see their data bundles tripled. The “Triple Data” offer starts at 200MBs which Africell triples to 600MBs, 300MBs which triples to 900MBs and 1GB which becomes 3GB at no extra cost.
According to Africell’s Commercial Director Milad Khairallah, Sheilah was chosen for this role because of her great personality and profile.
“Sheilah properly fits the excitement this entire campaign is. As a person, she’s an over achiever for her age. She started her screen career at only 13 and has kept it clean to the top.” He noted.
Sheila Gashumba could not hide her excitement about the new deal. She noted that she is elated about the role and recognition that Africell is offering.
She now joins Bebe Cool, David Lutalo, Sheebah Karungi, and Ziza Bafana as other Africell Brand Ambassadors.
