Multi-talented NTV The beat presenter, Sheilah Gashumba, has ventured into the music industry.
News on our desks indicates that the young model who started working on television at a tender age, will release her debut song soon and she is dedicated to starting a successful singing career.
Although the language in which Sheila will be singing in is not yet clear, many think Kinyarwanda will help her sell. She has already been booked by a talent manager who is in talks with her tycoon dad to take over and manage her career.
Sheilah Gashumba is a multi-talented girl, who is very hardworking and a go-getter. Sheilah started working at the age of 10 on WBS TV as a news anchor and news reporter of kid’s news. On becoming a teenager, Sheila upgraded to the Teens show called Teens Club, a leading youth show in Uganda.
In 2009, Sheilah received recognition as the youngest Journalist to cover the well-known CHOGM, which was presided over by The Queen of England, in Kampala Uganda. She has worked for a widely read daily newspaper called Daily Monitor in a column called CHOGM Teens. Sheilah loves her own proposals because she strongly believes that she was born with a creative mind. Sheilah is unstoppable, by the age of 12, she had written proposals for a TV show, Radio show and Clothing Line among several other Creative and mind blowing ideas. A talented dancer, singer, model and more recently an events MC.
Sheilah also recently bounced back on the TV screen with a show called Exclusive Access, a segment on The Beat, which airs on the nation’s premier television NTV. Sheila says “AM Chasing my Dreams.” Clearly, this young, beautiful and talented girl is just getting started and definitely a force to look out for in this 21st Century entertainment industry.
