Socialite Sheilah Carol Gashumba is furious with songstress Cindy Sanyu for insulting Nigerian singer Omah Lay.
Taking it to her Twitter, Gashumba revealed that she was shocked after watching Cindy call Omah Lay an idiot in a live video on social media, before further calling her out for being jealous.
“I missed the part where Cindy Sanyu called Omah Lay an idiot during a live video!! Wow!! My favorite artist!! Shame on you!! Be happy for others just like Uganda was happy for you when u filled up cricket oval,” Gashumba stated.
“This boy is only 23 years abeg!! Dont put your problemz on him,” she added.
It should be recalled that the ‘Boom Party’ singer made the remarks while commenting about the concert where Nigerian talents, Omah Lay and Tems were the main performers. She condemned the Nigerian singers for failure to observe any COVID-19 SOPs.
Omah Lay together with Tems and their manager Muyiwa Awoniyi were arrested on Sunday, 13th December 2020 and charged with negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious disease.
This was after they had performed at a concert on Saturday at Ddungu Resort, Munyonyo.
However, they were released on Tuesday, 15th December 2020 after the charges against them were withdrawn by government.
