NTV Uganda’s Sheila Nduhukire has been rewarded for making a correct prediction in the Uganda Cranes game against Comoros on Sunday.
Sheila who was among the hundreds of jubilant football fans at Namboole that witnessed Uganda make history had previously predicted Uganda would win by one goal, and it did.
The NTV News anchor has been rewarded with several goodies including a yummy cake. “Sheila Nduhukire predicted a 1 – 0 for the Ug-Comoros game and…she wins some real goodies including this yummy cake!” NTV Uganda posted on social media.
Meanwhile, Uganda broke the 39-year jinx in the Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Comoros 1-0 in their final Group D game in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers on Sunday to finally secure a slot at Africa’s biggest football tournament in Gabon next year. Farouk Miya scored the lone goal that handed Uganda victory.
