The Late Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte’s widow Dr. Hajjati Kulthum Nabunya Muzaata is set to officialize her new relationship.
Hajjati Kulthum who made her new love affair with a one Akram Gumisiriza public in January 2022 has confirmed that their marriage ceremonies will happen this year.
According to Hajjati Kuluthum, her and Akram will commence with a ‘Kwanjula’ ceremony on November 25, 2022 followed by wedding on December 18, 2022.
“Yes, it’s true that the marriage ceremonies are happening, Kwanjula is on 25th November this year then wedding is on 18th December,” Hajjati Kuluthum Nabunya told a local TV station.
Hajjati Kuluthum also cautioned fellow women on need to first demand for official marriages from their lovers prior deciding to stay together.
“I always tell women to ask men for an official marriage before even staying together. Those without invitation cards shouldn’t come,” Hajjati Kuluthum added.
Its believed that in December 2021, Akram Gumisiriza made a maiden visit (Kukyala) to Hajjati Kuluthum’s ancestral home.
Sheikh Muzaata was a Muslim leader heading Imams in Uganda, head of Dawa in Uganda, Arabic teacher, Islamic religion teacher, marriage teacher and councillor died on December, 4 2020 at IHK Hospital where he had been admitted for several weeks.
By the time of his death, the self-outspoken Muslim leader had born only one child with Hajjati Kuluthum.
Sheikh Muzaata was born on February 5, 1962 to Hamidah Nalunkuuma and Adam Muzaata near Bwaise in Kampala.
He started school at Bilal Islamic School in Bwaise and earned a degree in Islamic studies at University of Medina, Saudi Arabia.
He was laid to rest on Saturday, December 5, 2002 in Kigoogwa, Wakiso District.
