The Ice Cream and Cake festival returns this weekend. The family event which is now in its 4th edition will be held at the Uganda Museum on Saturday, 15th December.
It promises to be a fun-filled affair where revelers will indulge their palates in the sweet delights for which the festival is known for like ice cream, cakes, muffins and candy among others. To light up the day, there will be a rich line up of musicians including Sheebah Karungi, Spice Diana, Beenie Gunter and Levixone among others to entertain revelers.
Addressing media on Tuesday afternoon, Norman Kasule, the festival’s marketing manager revealed that this edition is dedicated to celebrating family and friends and will feature lots of giveaways such as free ice cream for all revelers. “As the year comes to the end, we thought to dedicate this edition to family and friends. We want them to come together and make special memories,” Kasule said.
“We have brought several partners on board who will be giving away lots of goodies like ice cream and milk among others.” He added.
Meanwhile, children will also be catered for in the day’s fun with a kid’s park with bouncing castles, face painting, and reading games set up for them. Tickets cost 25k for adults and 10k for children.
