Uganda’s current female music sweetheart Sheebah Karungi has come out to say that she is surprised by the rate at which she is rising. The singer who was recently signed by former Goodlyfe manager Jeff Kiwa has been releasing irresistible hits ever since. Her songs have made it to the charts and she can’t believe that she is the one doing all this.
Yes, we have all heard Sheebah’s “Ice Cream” hit playing somewhere and either sang along or even danced to it, the same goes for her new tune “Twesaana”. The former obsessions group singer has really had a good year so far.
“I didn’t know I had this potential,” she was heard speaking to a friend after a performance at Ham towers Makerere last week.
Fellow musician Jackie Chandiru had also much earlier on predicted that Sheebah would come out of her shell and show the star that she really is this year. Jackie said this while making her comments about Sheebah’s “Self Service” song where she features Daxx Kartel.
All we can do is watch as the star quality in Sheebah comes out.
