Musicians, Sheebah Karungi and Peace Mbabazi were the big highlights at Bakiga Nation held at the Indian Association Grounds Lugogo on Sunday.
Peace Mbabazi captivated the audience with a gospel music takeover, performing to her Ninsiima Mukama Yesu, Bwanyima Yobusasi, Osiime, and wrapped up her performance a special performance with her Husband, Jack Asaba.
Wearing a pink attire, Sheebah Karungi shortly after elevated the scene and took the crowd in a frenzy during her hour-long performance backed by energetic Rita dancehall, giving the attendees some of her best hits like Wakikuba, and Nakyuka.
The 13th edition of the popularly known Bakiga Nation united a magnitude of attendees from the Kigezi region in culture, brought to life at the Pilsner cultural experience through music and dance, art, food and drinks.
Speaking at the event, the Pilsner Lager Brand Manager Edgar Kihumuro said, Pilsner Lager is purposefully tapping into different cultural platforms to unite its consumers in celebration while safeguarding their different cultures.
The event was also highlighted by a percussion performance by Qwela band, giving a unique fusion of modern and traditional music.
At every opportunity, attendees joined in during the Ekizino performances, not forgetting more entertainment from Moses Snazz, Bowman Aremwaki and a DJ Bugy takeover.
For a cultural experience, Rukundo Egumeho stayed true to its roots and delivered a wholesome cultural and musical extravaganza. Indeed, Rukundo Egumeho!
