Local musician Sheebah Karungi enjoyed the spotlight at the MTV Africa Music Awards(MAMA) that were held in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday evening. This after the “Ndiwanjawulo” hitmaker took centre-stage at the prestigious award ceremony to present an award.
Sheebah, whose joy was palpable, presented an award for the Best Female Artiste which was won by Nigeria’s Yemi Alade, and Best International Artiste which was won by Canadian rapper Drake.
Meanwhile, Sheebah Karungi was also a nominee in Video of the Year category for her song “Kisa Kimu” but lost to Congolese singer Youssoupha.
