It seems the Tubonga Nawe curse has cost Bebe Cool and fellow artistes who took part in the project an arm and a leg.
The musicians who have lost a big chunk of their fan base for supporting President Museveni have given way to the rise of Sheebah Karungi and Winnie Nwagi. The two female singers are enjoying the fruits of having Bebe Cool, Chameleone, Juliana, Radio and Weasel out of their way.
Turns out Winnie Nwagi has now taken both Iryn Namubiru and Juliana Kanyomozi’s spots. The singer who has hit songs making rounds including Musawo is seen by fans as the new Juliana/Iryn. This was confirmed at the recent Blankets and Wine event where she had massive support.
Sheebah has managed to get out four songs which are all making rounds following the musical ‘demise’ of big stars and their sudden disappearance from the music scene. Ndi Wanjawulo, Nkwatako and Wantama have made Sheebah the fans favourite as we speak.
