She Cranes star Elizabeth Atonet is in desperate need for financial assistance before she can undergo a knee surgery at CoRSU Rehabilitation Hospital, Kisubi, Entebbe Road.
According to media reports, the National Insurance Corporation (NIC) netball club player needs close to 10M before 27th of October if the surgery is to be done successfully.
Atonet has reportedly failed to raise the said amount and is seeking out sympathizers and well-wishers to help her.
The 25-year-old sustained the injury in June as the She Cranes prepared for the August Netball World Cup in Sydney, Australia. Since then, nothing has improved about her condition which also left her out of the She Cranes squad that finished 8th at the tournament due to luck of the required treatment.
