Uganda’s National Netball team, the SHE Cranes has landed a sponsorship deal from GOtv. The team has signed a two-year deal with the pay-tv services provider to a tune of UGX 81.6 million which will cover travel expenses for the team as well as kits for the players.

Speaking at the announcement of the sponsorship, Joan Semanda Kizza the PR and Communications Manager at Multichoice Uganda, noted that, “for a while as GOtv Uganda we have been tracking the performance of the She Cranes. We know that you are number one in the region, number two in Africa and sixth in the world. It is therefore safe to say that as far as performance is concerned the She Cranes are definitely outstanding.”

“With this sponsorship, our hope is that the team will solely concentrate on practising for the tournament knowing fully well that items like travel expenses and apparel are well taken care of.” She added.
