Seasoned multimedia practitioner Shawn Kimuli is now new general of kingdom Media an arm of the Christian Focus Churn in Mengo. His new role includes taking general charge of the details of Kingdom TV, Kingdom Radio and Kingdom Digital.
The former NBS TV all-round worker who worked as News Anchor, Morning Breeze (first new era TV breakfast show) presenter with Joy Doreen Biira who relocated to Nairobi, Head of Corporate affairs left Next Media after his assignment to start and programme the first Visual/audio/Frequency and Online Outlet in Africa NXT Radio 106.1. He would go into consultancy where he has been at helm of establishing Now TV and WTV.
The former presenter cum Programmer at Uganda’s prime Capital FM now moves to Kingdom Media under leadership of Bishop Kiganda David to as well sweep through as the Programming Director.
Insiders who remain anonymous have intimated how there is excitement to the Presence of Kimuli who also has a remarkable background as a Pentecostal. Shawn also has two inspirational albums to his music career dating back in the mid-20s. Aprt from working for Kin Kariisa’s next media as the first personality on air Shawn Kimuli has been with Kampala FM, Radio One, Top Media Capital FM etc.
The mostly calm and gentle journalist was among g the shortlisted people to Manage Sanyu FM after Betsy Mugamba was booted. The position was taken by Chris Ireland a marketing guru. When asked whyat he doing by a local newspaper last November, Shawn said he is concentrating and his multimedia company Kudos and fiance’s clothing line Fofo. We are yet to know why he has returned.
