Share Your Dreams and Microsoft Mobile Devices Could Turn Them to Reality

Microsoft has launched an online and retail consumer campaign dubbed #MakeItHappenEA that aims to empower customers to share their life long desires, and if selected, get once in a lifetime chance to turn them to reality.

The two months long campaign was launched at an exclusive invite only party held at the Oxygen Lounge at Club Silk and seeks to celebrate the thrill of turning people’s aspirations to reality.

The #MakeItHappenEA campaign will turn three winners’ dreams to reality and one overall lucky user will win an all-expensepaid trip with 3 friends to attend a concert in South Africa.

Speaking during the launch, Microsoft Mobile Devices East Africa General Manager, Mariam Abdullahi said the campaign aims to reward Lumia users and take the chance to remind people of the adventures they’ve always wanted to have and challenge them to do them, now.

“We all have that one big ‘thing’ that we’ve always wanted to do but we never seem to be able to make it happen. Microsoft is now offering you the power and tools to start making things happen in your lives through our cool range of Lumia devices” added Abdullahi.

During the launch, Uganda’s top socialites and celebrities were the first to have feel of the newly introduced Microsoft Lumia 535 handsets.

The smart phone has very unique operations wrapped up with a 5-inch screen, 5-megapixel front- and rear-facing camera, and free integrated Microsoft experiences such as Skype and OneNote and is available at an affordable price.

The phone’s operating system is not quite different from other Lumia phones but possessesqHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels together with a 5MP front-facing camera and enhanced sunlight readability.

To participate in the #MakeItHappenEA Campaign, users are required to buy any Lumia device between 1st February and 31st March, 2015, SMS the word ‘DREAM’ to a short codeand link to #MakeItHappenEA microsite will be sent to the user to enter personal contact detail and the dream.
