You have all heard about the little incident, call it feud between Gagamel boss Bebe Cool and Shaka Mayanja. Well, if you haven’t, you can read more here.
News reaching us is that Shaka could have started a ‘war’ with the “Love You Everyday” singer in order to ride off his fame and promote his upcoming show. Shaka who is organizing a jazz fest is said to be in dire need for publicity and will use any chance to get his event out to the public.
When Shaka started the ‘little war’ with Bebe Cool over the singers “Love You Everyday” song claiming that Bebe Cool didn’t write the song and therefore it was not his, Shaka was looking for a way to get people to know that he also still exists and has a Jazz show coming soon.
“He used him like a condom, because at first he said, the song was not Bebe Cool’s. Then all of the sudden he changed and said it was for Bebe Cool after everyone had started talking about the matter. All he wanted was to promote his Jazz event, no wonder he used his Jazz Safari Facebook page to make the post against Big Size’s song,” said Jimmy an independent Ugandan music observer.
Shaka’s Jazz show is slated for October this year, it will be held at Serene Kampala Hotel.
We will keep you posted.
