City talent developer Betty Sentamu has literally resurrected celebrated Uganda musician Maddox Ssematimba aka Ssemanda David Ssematimba.
Betty Sentamu who is currently Maddox’s manager, is on a mission to revive the musician’s once thriving music career.
According to reliable sources close to the singer, Sentamu is working tirelessly with renowned Kampala lawyer Julius Kabenge Kavuma and seasoned marketer Chris Kitaka to ensure that Maddox returns with a bang on Uganda’s entertainment scene.
Maddox, who is known for timeless hits like ‘Namagembe’, ‘Munakyalo’, ‘Nakatudde’, ‘Wowoto’ to mention but a few, has been on a music break that spurn almost two years following that depression he suffered a few years back.
However, the support given to him by Sentamu, Kabenge, and other caring people has seen him gather his strength and rescue himself from the dire straits he found himself in, which adversely affected his music career.
It should be noted that Sentamu Betty is sister of Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine, who is himself a celebrated musician.
